As the fortunes of pop star Britney Spears seem to keep gradually spiraling down, her ex-husband Kevin Federline appears to be conversely enjoying a continued bout of improved luck. Other than the failure of his rap album, public sympathy kept leaning more on his side during his much-publicized divorce from Spears, whose continued antics made him look much more mature by comparison. However, Spears’ erratic behavior spanned a wide range of infamous acts, such as shaving her head, problems with drug abuse, and even down to lip synching terribly. And as of Wednesday, she began to feel stronger consequences when it was announced that custody of their children had been awarded to her ex-husband instead of her. Federline has also previously worked as a stage performer and dancer, though his steady job now is acting on One Tree Hill. His role of heading a local rock band was only supposed to last for three episodes, but the producers were impressed enough by Federline’s acting ability that they made him a show regular.

The salary that the show provides ensures that he’ll at least be financially stable enough to take care of the kids. Public opinion of their mother began to suffer when, among other things, she was often spotted driving them around without any proper safety restraints. Spears was also infamous for almost dropping one of her offspring while holding a drink in her other hand, and for asking a cosmetic dentist to turn her children’s teeth white with laser treatment after they’d had too much junk food, instead of a regular regiment of brushing and mouthwash.

Most readers come to expect for Stars to be a little eccentric, as most creative and artistic people are. Even though I understand that those in Hollywood happen to live in a different galaxy than the rest of us, lately I’ve been getting the feeling that they live in a different universe all together. Kevin Federline Is Considered a Better Choice as a Parent

Kevin Federline is known as many things, an unemployable former back up dancer, would be rapper, and a cad, who happened to leave his girlfriend while she was seven months pregnant. Most people cheered with glee when Britney Spears decided that it was time to put the kibosh on their tumultuous union. Yet, as of today if you ask anyone who they believe should be raising Sean Preston, and Jayden James, the two children he sired with Spears, most people would without hesitation say Federline. Only in Hollywood would Kevin Federline make the better parent.

Madonna Has Turned Into A prude

Though Madonna has moved to England, and adopted some weird hybrid British American accent, she is a major player in the entertainment community. Madonna is probably known for her sexy persona, and her ability to push the limits, sexual and otherwise. She has been romantically linked to some of the top players in Hollywood including Warren Beatty and Sean Penn.

Yet, the material girl turned mom has turned into a prude. She has stated that she will not allow her daughter Lourdes to date until she turns 18, and does not allow her 3 children to consume junk food or watch television. The woman who gained notoriety for videos such as Justify My Love and carved a career out of the visual medium has decided that television is trash? Does anyone but me see the irony in this?

What happened to the days of being famous for actually doing something? Antonella Barber, at least I believe that is her last name, I currently do not find her important enough to actually check, is making quite the stir this week. Antonella is the most likely contestant to be booted off American Idol as she sounds mediocre at best has made headlines for some racy photos making their rounds through the media including the internet.

Antonella, who had she any talent would have become famous for her singing but is now gaining notoriety for salacious photos that may be a marketing ploy on her part is doing what many other celebrity hopefuls do. She will become famous for being famous and not doing anything noteworthy at all. I’m hoping the hoopla will die down and an actual celebrity will begin to make headlines.

Last night on One Tree Hill, the cocky rocker wannabe Jason, played by Kevin Federline, got punched in the face. If you’ve been following his television appearances, this wouldn’t be the first time that he got into trouble and moreover, got hurt physically. Audiences were amused to see him punched in the stomach by Nick (George Eads) on CSI, and wrestling fans won’t forget that John Cena literally threw him to the ground on WWE Raw. Come to think of it, K-Fed’s entire television career (except for his best forgotten reality show) has featured him getting kicked down to the ground. This makes us wonder, what is with Kevin Federline that makes us want to see him in pain?

Comparing all his television roles, the one he got on One Tree Hill may be the worst. Jason was cocky, arrogant and refused to take any criticism about his work. It’s funny thinking about how Mark Schwahn got K-Fed just to be hated on-screen, as we all secretly dislike him and would only want to see him play a completely obnoxious character. If this is the case, the strategy completely worked. K-Fed is a sold out obnoxious ass whom we did not want to see ever again. But he did come back in last night’s episode, in which he basically did nothing and stood there in that usual, annoying way he does. So he makes some cheap trouble and ends up getting punched in the face. Of course, we all double over in laughter and fulfillment that he was again put down.

Previously, Federline made an appearance in WWE Raw, where he taunted wrestling superstar John Cena. He immediately regretted it as he was picked up, thrown to the ground, and left there, writhing in pain. That was one stupid appearance.

And of course, who would forget his CSI appearance where he played a thug, who again taunted Nick in that obnoxious way he does. So far, Federline has built an impressive career with a common trend in all his appearances. Makes us wonder: Is Mr. Britney Spears enjoying the pain?

During the marriage she put her singing on hold and eventually the marriage resulted in a divorce in 2007. The marriage was riddled with drug and alcohol abuse by Federline (according to Spears) and Kevin was seen out and about in town nearly every single night during the last months of the marriage.

After the divorce it was reported that Britney would pay Kevin a whopping $19 million - but this soon proved to be a bit too good to be true for Federline. He only ended up walking away from the deal with $1 million - less than %1 of what Britney Spears is worth.

Currently Britney is enjoying a lot of press but not for a good reason. After the marriage she experienced a public meltdown of her profile. During the divorce proceedings she was seen drunk and possibly under the influence of drugs and going out with friend Paris Hilton. It appeared that she was not spending any time with her kids and this led to a public questioning of her parenting skills.

During her last public performance as a singer at the VMA Awards in 2007 Britney seemed incoherent. She stumbled across the stage and did not bother with any of the dance moves that she had been studying for a week. According to many music industry professionals this may haven been the final blow to her music career.
